Did Vancouver have an NBA team?
Vancouver doesn't have a NBA franchise. From 1995 to 2001, the city was home to the Vancouver Grizzlies. However, the team moved to Memphis, Tennessee in 2001. Now, basketball enthusiasts in Vancouver support the Toronto Raptors as they are the closest NBA team to the area. There are also other professional basketball teams that play in and around Vancouver, including the BC Tigers of Canada's Elite Basketball League and Vancouver Volcanoes International Basketball League. A number of amateur and semiprofessional teams participate in various local leagues.

What was the best year for the Raptors?
The 2019 championship season was Toronto Raptors' best season. The Raptors won the NBA Championship for the first time in their history. It was an exciting and memorable season. Kawhi Leonard was named Finals' MVP and the team had a regular season record of 58-24. They defeated the Golden State Warriors 6-1 to claim the title.
The Toronto Raptors reorganized their front office in 2013, replacing Bryan Colangelo with Masaiujiri. This change would bring a new era to the franchise and make them one of NBA's best teams.
The Raptors under Ujiri enjoyed a resurgence and reached the playoffs in 2014. This was their first playoff appearance since 2008. They have won five Division titles since then. Their most successful regular season was in 2018. Ujiri also made an unorthodox but successful trade in that year, sending DeMar DeRozan and Kawhi Leonard to the San Antonio Spurs.
The Raptors had a great year in 2019, winning their first conference title and making it to the NBA Finals for the first time. They beat the Golden State Warriors in six games.
Ujiri has been an outstanding success with the Raptors and deserves to be credited for turning around the team's fortunes. His leadership has made the Raptors one of the most successful teams in the NBA, and they look set to continue to be contenders for many years.

How was the Toronto Raptors' inaugural season?
The Toronto Raptors' debut season was a disaster, with only 21 wins. The 1995-1996 Toronto Raptors was the inaugural NBA season. The Raptors were among two expansion teams that joined the league in 1995, alongside the Vancouver Grizzlies. It was also the first NBA season played outside the United States.
Isiah THOMAS, an All Star point guard from the Detroit Pistons, became the General Manager. He helped draft Damon Stoudamire to be named Rookie and Year. In separate trades, they also acquired Tracy Murray as well as Oliver Miller. Thomas introduced a new primary emblem featuring a dinosaur playing ball and pinstripe uniforms sporting the logo on the front. The Raptors added purple, and red to their new color scheme.
Brendan Malone, the new head coach of the Raptors, won the Raptors' first game on November 3, against the New Jersey Nets at SkyDome. However, they lost seven of their next seven games.
Murray was second on the team for scoring, with an average of 16.2 points per contest. He also led the team by scoring 151 three-point field goal attempts during that season. Miller was the team's leading scorer with 12.9 points and 7.4 boards, 1.4 steals and 1.9 block per game. Robertson had 9.3 points and 4.4rebounds as well as four assists and two steals each game.
Despite having the worst attendance record in the league they still managed to attract over 17283 fans per match at SkyDome (now Rogers Centre).

How to get from your location to the Toronto Raptors' game
Toronto Raptors games are at Air Canada Centre. (ACC) is located in downtown Toronto Ontario, Canada. TTC's subway system can take you to ACC. Union Station takes 30 minutes to reach ACC. Bay Street station, which is about 30 minutes away from ACC, is the closest station.
Bay street station is best if you're coming to ACC from Union Station. Follow the signs for ACC from Bay Street Station. If you arrive at ACC from another direction, please follow the signs to Bay Street station.
From Bay Street Station, follow the signs towards the ACC.
The venue is accessible to those with disabilities. Accessible seating is available for wheelchair users. The ACC also offers sign language interpretation services.
The ACC does not charge a parking fee. Parking is not available on the streets nearby.
